Meet Dr. Rose
Dr. John Rose is a native Long Islander. He has lived and worked in both Nassau and Suffolk Counties and is proud to serve the Long Island community.
Dr. Rose received his D.D.S. from Stony Brook University where he earned numerous awards and scholarships in Periodontics and Oral Biology. He then continued his education at Stony Brook University where he received his Post-Graduate Certificate in Periodontics. Upon graduation, Dr. Rose successfully completed the examinations to become a Diplomate of The American Board of Periodontology. He is Board Certified in Periodontolgy and Dental Implant Surgery.
Dr. Rose has presented research at the National Level and has lectured on numerous topics including Dental Implants, Bone Grafting, Periodontal Regeneration, Soft Tissue Augmentation and Practice Development. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Stony Brook University where he teaches advanced surgical techniques in Periodontics, Regeneration and Implantology.
Dr. Rose participates in a variety of National and International Dental Organizations and Study Clubs throughout Long Island. He is the Immediate Past President of the Long Island Academy of Periodontists, Spear Study Club President and is a Director for the Suffolk County Dental Society. Dr. Rose maintains private practices in Smithtown and East Setauket, New York where he focuses on Surgical Dental Implantology, Soft and Hard Tissue Augmentation, Oral Medicine and Periodontal Regeneration.
Dr. Rose lives in East Setauket with his wife Beth and son Jackson. He enjoys various sports, CrossFit, reading and participating in volunteer and community events. These days, you will probably find Dr. Rose spending quality time with his family and enjoying the North Shore community.
